2019 Pacbot Competition
April 2018
As an active member from Tufts Robotics Club, I attended the 2018 Trinity College International Robot Contest and helped built an autonomous robot that finds a candle inside the maze and blows it out.
Using Onshape and 3D-printers, I designed a mechanism which uses a servo motor to press the trigger on the extinguisher to release CO2 gas. Apart from that, I made 3D-printed parts that mount the fire sensor and the extinguisher onto the robot. With basic knowledge of Arduino, I also helped the team to maintain the circuits and fix problems during the competition.
